Rhea Martin, RVN

Background

Rhea has been veterinary nursing since 2003 and gained her Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification in 2007. She moved to Cornwall in April 2018,  joining the Kernow Vets team soon after.  She works mainly in the Kings Avenue surgery by day but also works some nights with the emergency team at Lostwithiel.

She enjoys helping owners improve their pets’ health working in the nurse clinics at the surgery.   She has developed a particular interest in microscope work, particularly used for investigating skin problems seen in the surgery.  She is now working closely with Nicky Shaw, supporting the skin investigations undertaken in her skin consultations.   She is a member of the Vetruus Nurse Dermatology Group and hopes to complete the BSAVA Dermatology Nurse Award.

When not working or caring for her own pet rabbits, cat and dog, Rhea enjoys swimming, dancing, walking and kayaking…..especially with her dog Eddie.
